TIMELESS 5 / PRIVATE BETA
Fitness privacy
Prepared October 26, 2026 for Timeless 5.0, the fitness private beta. This policy describes the fitness app. The existing policy for legacy movie and web services continues to describe those services until separately updated.
Timeless is provided by Wolfins Limited AI Lab. In the fitness beta, you can play, complete quests and keep progress without creating an account. Health connections are optional.
Camera and movement
Motion Surfers processes camera images on your device to estimate body position for controls. Somra processes images locally for face tracking, illustrative anatomy alignment and its experimental pulse estimate. The fitness app does not record camera video or upload camera frames to our servers. Camera-free previews and touch gameplay are available.
If you deliberately pair a local display through Motion Surfers, encrypted gameplay information and, in modes that use it, a rendered game view are sent over your local network to that display. Do not share a pairing code or link with someone you do not want to connect. This feature does not send your health-store records or camera video to the display.
Optional health records
With your permission, Timeless reads supported sleep, workouts, resting heart rate and heart rate variability from Apple Health or Android Health Connect. It reads recent records for the views you use and keeps imported records in memory on your device. It does not write health records, upload them, sell them, or use them for advertising. Available records depend on the permissions and sources you choose. Apple Health SDNN and Health Connect RMSSD are displayed as distinct measurements.
Use Connections & privacy to stop reading health data. Revoke access through Apple Health or Health Connect settings. The live WHOOP pilot is not activated in this build.
Fitness progress and local storage
Check-ins, water logs, daily quest receipts, XP and game-session summaries are saved in app-private local storage. The journal includes dates, durations, camera-play time and game results. The fitness journal is excluded from device backup. Timeless 5 has no fitness cloud account or cross-device progress sync; removing the app can remove local progress. An update does not transfer data from the separate preview app.
Pulse diagnostics and exports
The experimental pulse scanner stores one small operational report locally so interruptions can be investigated. It contains technical information such as capture duration, frame rate, rejection counts and camera shutdown status. It excludes camera images, face coordinates, RGB samples and pulse values. You can clear the local report using the scanner’s diagnostics controls.
If you choose the research trace/export option, additional derived signal data may be retained for that session and exported using your device’s sharing controls. Export happens only when you choose it. Review the file and destination before sharing; recipients process it under their own policies.
Android SDK diagnostics
Android includes Google ML Kit for face detection. Its SDK can automatically send device and app information, per-installation identifiers, feature-use events, configuration, timing and error information to Google for diagnostics and usage analytics. This technical telemetry is separate from the local pulse report described above.
Google documents HTTPS encryption for this SDK telemetry and says it does not transfer this data to third parties. Face detection runs on your device; camera frames and imported health records are not included in this telemetry. See Google’s ML Kit data disclosure. The iPhone app uses Apple Vision for its native face detector.
Services and communications
The fitness build contains no advertising SDK, advertising identifier, in-app purchase flow, cloud health profile or automatic health-data upload. Somra chat replies are not connected; drafts stay in memory and clear when you leave the Lab. Apple and Google process store distribution, beta feedback and platform diagnostics under their own policies.
If you contact support, we receive the information you send, such as your email address, device model and description of the issue. Do not send health records or camera images unless you intend to share them. We use support information to respond, investigate and handle account or purchase requests, retaining it as needed for that purpose and any applicable obligations.
Legacy accounts and subscriptions
The fitness update does not delete old movie accounts, cancel store subscriptions or convert previous paid products into fitness purchases. Legacy account and transaction records remain subject to the existing service policy. Request access, correction or deletion of a legacy account; manage subscription renewals separately through the store where you purchased.
Your choices
You can decline camera and health permissions, revoke them in system settings, clear scanner diagnostics, and contact us about personal information we hold. Do not use experimental readings for diagnosis, treatment or medical decisions. We will update this page when the fitness app’s data practices change.
